I’m thrilled to share a milestone that marks both an ending and a beginning in my professional journey.
As this year draws to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the moments that stretched me, the opportunities that helped me grow, and the incredible people who walked alongside me. Every challenge, every conversation, and every collaboration has shaped who I am becoming, and I’m energised by what lies ahead in 2026.
After completing a Leadership #Apprenticeship at Level 3 at Doncaster Sheffield Airport a while ago, I made the decision to take a bold step forward and progress directly to a Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). It was a leap that demanded resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to push beyond what felt comfortable. Today, I’m proud to share that I have successfully completed my Coaching Professional Level 5 apprenticeship.
This achievement is more than a qualification. It represents a commitment to becoming the kind of leader who empowers others, creates space for growth, and helps people unlock their potential. But it was never a solo journey. I’m profoundly grateful to those who believed in me, challenged me, and encouraged me to keep going: my tutor, Nicolle Pennie MBA CMgr FCMI (from MBKB Training – Ofsted OUTSTANDING provider); my SEO, saiqua karim; my G7; my District Capability Lead Colleagues; my DEA colleague; colleagues from the Group Office; fellow apprentices from Service Delivery Optimisation; and so many others who played a part in this chapter.
Thank you for your support, your honesty, and your faith in what’s possible.
Here’s to a year ahead filled with growth, courage, and meaningful impact for us all
